One thing that has come out of this election besides President Obama winning again is the fact that right-wing pundits have lost their minds. They are visibly upset by Mitt Romney losing, and have taken to the airwaves to let us all know.

Bill O’Reilly on Fox News during the election coverage on Tuesday night said,

“..it’s a changing country, the demographics are changing – it’s not a traditional America anymore – and there are fifty percent of the voting public who want stuff – they want things – and who is going to give them things? President Obama – he knows it, and he ran on it – and whereby twenty years ago President Obama would’ve been roundly defeated by an establishment candidate like Mitt Romney. The white establishment is now the minority, and the voters – many of them – feel that the economic system is stacked against them, and they want stuff. You’re going to see a tremendous hispanic vote for President Obama – overwhelming black vote for President Obama, and women will probably break President Obama’s way. People feel that they are entitled to things, and which candidate between the two is going to give them things.”

Rush Limbaugh spoke on his show on Wednesday remarking on the election win for President Obama:

“Small things beat big things yesterday – Conservatism … did not lose last night … it is practically impossible to beat Santa Claus. People are not going to vote against Santa Claus, especially if the alternative is being your own Santa Claus.”

He went on to talk about Romney and his family were exactly what his country needed. That he held “traditional” values of hard work. Then Limbaugh said,

”In a country of children where the option is Santa Claus or work, what wins?”

He didn’t even want to begin to talk about how divided his party is, or how – let’s be blunt – white and polarizing his party is, but rather that sure, ”We have plenty of highly achieved minorities in our party!” – that’s what he said instead.

Limbaugh continued by stating:

“I went to bed last night thinking, ‘we’re outnumbered … I went to bed last night thinking we’d lost the country. I don’t know how else you look at this. The first wave of exit polls came in at five o’clock. I looked at it, and I said … ‘this is utter BS, and if it isn’t, then we’ve lost the country.’”

To say it simply – Limbaugh hasn’t lost the country, he’s lost his mind.

Ann Coulter told Laura Ingraham that she’s “pretty pessimistic about the country.” She went on to say, “People are suffering. The country is in disarray. If Mitt Romney cannot win in this economy, then the tipping point has been reached. We have more takers than makers and it’s over. There is no hope.”  She then finished by saying, “Mitt Romney was the president we needed right now, and I think it is so sad that we are going to be deprived of his brain power, of his skills in turning companies around, turning the Olympics around, his idea and his kindness for being able to push very conservative ideas on a country that no longer is interested in conservative ideas. It is interested in handouts.”

Really?! Are you folks really saying that minorities and women want President Obama because they “want stuff”?? Well, if by stuff you mean equal rights for all, marriage for all, voting rights for all, and a woman’s right to have control over her own body then yes, we want “stuff” – and that’s why we reelected President Obama.

Karl Rove is claiming President Obama won by “suppressing the vote.” Really, Rove? You of all people want to bring up voter suppression? You may not want to go down that road again – for your own good.

Donald Trump amidst divisive tweet after tweet (one even telling the House to not work with President Obama unless he gets rid of the Affordable Care Act) had the audacity to say:

and this:

Really, Trump?! You’re one of the main reasons we’re split. You’ve taken your Narcissistic Personality Disorder all for the sake of ratings and pretended to give a damn about this nation, when you really couldn’t care less. All you care about it yourself. You think because you have money you can control outcomes. Well – the American people have used their voices in their vote and have shown the world what they want, and that is having President Obama for four more years. Will you get taxed more? Probably, and good – this nation has allowed (yes, allowed) you to do business and earn your wealth. The least you could do is give a little back. It’s called civic duty, it’s called patriotism.

The icing on the crazy-cake is the reaction by Mr. Glenn Beck on his radio show:

“…but it’s suicide to sit back, and not just for my company or your company, but for the country. We don’t have the luxury of time. I’ve been telling you for a while, and I told my own staff – if the president wins I don’t know how we survive. I don’t know how we survive the regulation that is coming for my industry. I don’t know how we’re going to survive the pressure and the tactics because he has more flexibility now, and they remember their enemies. I don’t know how we’re going to survive because I won’t compromise. I won’t make a deal with the devil. I want you to – I want you to understand this; inflation is coming; the fiscal cliff is coming; the dollar fell last night on the news; your taxes are going up; your health care costs are going up; your religion is going to come under attack; gas, coal and energy is going to become more expensive. You remember that list we put out a few months ago? Of do these things? I will tell you, last week we purchased more farmland as a family. May I recommend if you have a chance to buy farmland, you buy farmland. If you live in the east, may I recommend you get the hell out of the east. Find a place where you are surrounded by like-minded people, and the best way to find those people is – you should probably look at the maps on how counties voted, and get away as far as you can from where huge densities of people who are like, “I just need FEMA to help me.” – but get your kids away from the school that is indoctrinating them – that Socialism is okay. May I highly suggest… you… get grandfathered into the Second Amendment today. Oh, and don’t forget the ammunition.”

No wonder we have so many doomsdayers. They are getting their heads filled with this crap.

Instead of embracing the fact that there is a changing demographic in America, which in the land of the free with liberty and justice for all should be exciting – many on the right including several extremist pundits like Limbaugh, Coulter, Beck, O’Reilly, etc.  have told us we’re losing traditional America. Really? I thought the American tradition was being a step ahead and welcoming to all, not just white pride.

  • I haven’t heard a load of c/r/a/p such as this since Bush Sr. was running. These guys have been crying in their wheaties since election day, insulting everyone who voted against the fanatical, extremist, right- wing nutjobs who paid so dearly for Romney to win. They want back in the pockets of Americans as they were before Obama won the first time. They don’t like being out making only a few million or two when they were making multi-millions off Americans back in the day. Limbaugh, O’Reilly, Beck Ryan, Romney, Trump and a few others need to just go to their Cayman Islands and retire with the millions they “earned” in interest and stocks and say “that was a good run while we had it” and stay gone.
